Welcome to Valley Center Girls Softball! Our goal is always for our girls to play in a positive and safe environment, have fun and give them wonderful memories that they can carry with them for a lifetime. I thank all the girls for coming out this season. Your enthusiasm and energy is contagious. We are so proud of all the good sportsmanship you displayed this season!

This season we had more than 150 girls participate in five divisions: 6U (T-ball), 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. This was the first year we had a T-ball Division. Also, for the first time our 12U and 14U teams played six games each in Escondido. We are grateful to EGSL for allowing our teams to play in their league. Our 14U team played 18 games, including six in Escondido and 12 with other leagues in North County. They did a great job!

We had a lot of new coaches this year and they did a great job! Many of them attended the ASA coaches' clinic at Petco Park. Many are planning to return and continue coaching their kids. They will be attending future coaching clinics. This will allow our girls to get better instruction year after year.

Those of you who were Team Parents, a BIG THANK YOU for supporting your team and helping the girls and coaches have a better experience. YOU WERE AWESOME THIS YEAR! Thank you to all the parents, family and friends who helped with team and league activities.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of our Board Members this season. Our league is run by volunteers who put in many hours behind the scenes. We had a lot of new Board Members this season who helped so much. We are all fortunate that many are going to return next season and make VCGSL the best ever.
